Refreshing Drink for Hot Days: Green Pineapple Smoothie

On hot days, cool off with this refreshing beverage and strengthen your immune system, too! This yummy vitamin powerhouse – a green smoothie with pineapple – tastes surprisingly fruity and is an energizing pick-me-up without the crash.

Ingredients (serves 1):

  • 100 g pineapple
  • 30 g leafy greens
  • 1 apple
  • ½ tsp maca powder
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 200 ml water


1. Dice the pineapple.
2. Quarter the apples and remove the cores.
3. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

One serving contains 155 calories, 34 g of carbohydrates and 1 g of protein.
