Delicious Healthy Cookie Recipe

Eating healthy & trying to lose weight doesn’t have to be all about boring and flavorless foods! In fact, there are plenty of healthy alternatives to your favorite foods that will help eliminate cravings and that unhealthy yo yo effect. Chocolate chip, Peanut butter, Raisin……Cookies taste great but don’t have to be eliminated from your diet. Today I have an amazingly delicious and nutritious oatmeal cookie recipe for you that doesn’t include any butter OR sugar! To good to be true?

-2 ripe bananas (the dark brown ones work GREAT)
-1 cup dry oatmeal (rolled or quick cooking oats are fine)
-1 Tbsp flax seeds
-1 Tbsp chia seeds
-1 Tbsp raw cacao powder
-cinnamon to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius) ready for your healthy oatmeal cookies. Mash the bananas thoroughly with a fork. Mix in the oatmeal, flax seeds, chia seeds, cacao & cinnamon. Make cookies out of 1 Tbsp of dough. Put them on a cookie sheet (press them down to make a cookie shape). Bake for 12 minutes. This recipe makes about 15 cookies!
