Everyone was looking forward to Christmas…

But I was getting anxious.

Season by season, I had to go a size up when I was buying my clothes.

Getting close to 95 kg I wondered – do I really want to hit 100 kg (220 lbs) after Christmas?

At my height, 164 cm (5’ 4’’), that was almost double the size I was when I was younger.

Did I want to let myself reach the point where I needed special medication at 24 years-of-age?

I want to share my story, so everyone knows it’s possible to lose 30 kg (66 lbs) with a home bodyweight workout plan!

Starting slowly: it’s hard to stay on track

I decided I need to get on track and started to write down what I was eating. I was avoiding fast food and making healthier choices. The fat was melting away and I felt more confident about getting active.

Then something in my personal life changed everything for me.

My relationship ended. I wanted to feel better and motivated myself to use the free time that I had to get more active. I started using the Runtastic App for walking.

Things were looking good, but soon the motivation was gone.

Breaking point: finding true inner motivation

The years to come brought a lot of ups and downs for me. It wasn’t easy to stay on track all the time.

My weight fluctuated a lot. Even up to 10 kg (22lbs). I had to force myself to start all over again.

In 2015, I finally found a workout plan that suited my needs and discovered my true inner motivation. I started working out more than ever with the home workout plan from the Runtastic Results App.

Seeing results from my workouts motivated me to stay on track with my nutrition as well.

I discovered healthy recipes and learned to appreciate and enjoy healthier meals. They made me feel good, and my body transformed faster!

The Runtastic Results app helped me go from 93 to 64 kg (210 lbs to 141 lbs)!

Not only did it provide workouts I could do at home without any equipment, it also introduced me to a community – a community of positive people who motivate each other to be the best version of themselves.

I like the freedom to do my workouts alone, but since I started to run, too, I plan to join local races and fitness challenges – it’s fun and motivating!
