Lettuce Wrapped Tacos


  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 Tbsp canola oil
  • 350 g ground beef
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp ground caraway seed
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 4 leaves of lettuce
  • 4 tsp salsa
  • Juice of ½ lime


  1. Dice the onion.Sauté in some canola oil in a pan until translucent and then press the garlic into the pan.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until brown. Mix in the spices.
  3. Rinse the lettuce. Fill the lettuce leaves with the ground beef and add salsa on top. Drizzle some lime juice over the tacos.

One serving has 420 calories, 7 g of carbohydrates, 33 g of protein and 36 g of fat.
