Reaching Goals with Runtastic

In 2005 I started running. At first, my only gadget was a watch and I ran without a plan. After a few months, I finished my first 5k in 35 minutes. As time passed, I bought a heart rate monitor, started following a plan and finished my first half marathon in 2006 in 2 hours and 15 minutes. However, it was when I started running with my iPhone that I really began pursuing concrete goals, which lead to my personal best of 1 hour and 50 minutes in a half marathon in Karlsruhe, Germany.
Supported by two great training plans and the Runtastic app, I trained for six months for my first marathon in Berlin and finished it in 4 hours and 4 minutes! Besides improving my stamina, I was also able to reduce my weight from 207 lb (94 kg) to 171 lb (78 kg) and made contact with many other runners in the great community! Super!
