The Power Of A Bubble Bath: Reduce Stress & Relax Your Muscles

Happy National Bubble Bath Day!! If you weren’t aware of this, make sure to schedule some time today to relax and celebrate with a nice warm bubble bath. When I think of a bubble bath, I am often reminded of my childhood when I would take one and use the bubbles to create a beard like Santa Clause or a funny hair do. But, who says we have to be kids to take a bubble bath?

Bubble baths are an amazing way to hydrate your skin, relax your muscles and your mind. Here is a great way to enjoy a relaxing bubble bath this evening.

What you’ll need:

      • Bubble bath (you can even use shampoo if you don’t have any bubbles): Make sure you start out small to avoid bubble overload.

Optional additions:

        • 5-8 drops of lavender essential oil (or more if you really like the aroma)
        • 1 spoonful of coconut oil
        • 1 spoonful salt

I really love this bubble bath mix before bedtime. The lavender really promotes relaxation and the coconut oil is extremely moisturizing. When you work hard at the gym, at the office, with the kids, etc. you really deserve this time to relax and rejuvenate your body and mind. Put on some relaxing music, dim the lights, light some candles and enjoy!
