Running to End Hunger – with Women’s Health and FEED

RUN 10 FEED 10: This is the name of the international running campaign founded by Women’s Health and the FEED Foundation that feeds 10 hungry people for every 10 kilometers run. Did you know that one in seven Americans are wondering when they will get their next meal? But this does not only affect adults: 16 million children in the USA are at risk of going hungry. Therefore, RUN 10 FEED 10 has been working since 2012 to ensure that everyone in the USA has enough to eat: Donations are collected as part of a variety of running events like 10K races or fun runs.

Last year, the initiative was able to provide 4.5 million meals. Women’s Health hopes to break the 5 million mark in 2016. And we at Runtastic are involved this year as an official partner.
