Success Story of Paul Emmert
About 3 years ago, I was 40 pounds overweight, with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I was unable to run around the block, let alone run marathons. I decided that if I wanted to see my grandchildren, I needed to clean my health act up. I lost the weight. I started to jog, then run. I saw a local 10K race that I might want to participate in. But I needed a way to measure my progress.
I love my iPhone, and then discovered runtastic! Elegant software on the phone that does precisely what I wanted to track and measure.
I’ve built my runs up to significant monthly distance, and runtastic has helped me get there. I love to view my heart rate, see the maps, and how I’ve improved my times and distance. I’ve qualified for the famous Boston Marathon as I result of my first Marathon ever – clocking a 3:30:54. Not bad for a 53 year old guy!
The runtastic app has been instrumental in my running – it helps me set goals and attain them.
Plus I can share with all of my friends, who enjoy watching my progress.
