[VIDEO] The Biggest Myths About Cardio

When most people start their fitness journey, they often begin with cardio (running, walking, elliptical machine, treadmill, etc.). It seems as if cardio is the go-to fitness routine for most people who “don’t know where to start.” That’s why I wanted to bring this topic to the Runtastic Fitness Channel – it’s important!
Don’t get me wrong, cardio is great and it has its purpose. Your heart is a muscle and has to be trained just like the rest of the muscles in your body. The question I want to shed light on is: Are you doing the proper cardio that is conducive to your goals? Or are you doing cardio, as many memes on social media say, in order to “eat more cake”? Cardio for calories is a mindset that both myself and my guest, Liz from Super Sister Fitness, want to help you guys get out of. If you want long-term fat loss, long cardio sessions are not the only answer.
In this video, we are debunking the 4 most common cardio myths:
1. All cardio is the same: HIIT vs. LISS
2. More cardio is better
3. Cardio is the best way to lose body fat
4. Walking isn’t an effective form of cardio
Check out the video below to find out the facts about these myths so that you can lose fat long term!
