Vegan Smoothie Bowl to Kick up Your Breakfast

The same breakfast day in, day out can get pretty boring. Are you looking to change things up a bit? Then try this recipe for a vegan smoothie bowl. It’s not only quite colorful, but it’s packed with vitamins. This creamy smoothie you can eat with a spoon is perfect as a snack in between meals

Ingredients for 1 bowl:

  • 80 g baby spinach
  • ½ banana
  • 180 g frozen berries
  • 100 ml almond milk (unsweetened)
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp agave nectar

Directions: Blend the baby spinach with the chia seeds and almond milk until smooth. Then add the banana, frozen berries and agave nectar. Blend the mixture until creamy. Feel free to get creative with the toppings: We went with bananas, blueberries, strawberries, coconut flakes and walnuts.

One smoothie bowl (without toppings) contains about 233 calories, 30 g of carbohydrates, 5 g of protein and 5 g of fat.
