Finding the optimal workout schedule can be a bit confusing at first. While your friend or partner might be up for a morning run before the sun comes up, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s right for you. Of course, “whenever you can fit it in” is obviously the best answer, but we know that life can get in the way. Take the quiz to find out which workout schedule suits you best!

What does your morning usually look like?
It’s not about me. I’ve got to get my kids up and ready for school.
I start working early and usually get there before the sun comes up.
I like my “me time” in the morning: coffee, breakfast, read the paper, etc.
I wake up, and I work out – no exception!
When do you have the most energy?
In the afternoon after some meetings and critical thinking projects.
After work – I can’t wait for the clock to strike 5:00 p.m.
In the morning, but I need some time to wake up fully.
I wake up feeling like the Energizer bunny!
How would your co-workers describe you when you arrive at work?
I don’t even ask...I know I look like a zombie.
They know not to talk with me until I’ve had my coffee.
Hopefully pleasant. I try to bring my good vibes in the morning.
I am that slightly annoying co-worker who makes it known I’m in the office.
If/When you work out in the evenings, how do you feel?
I feel great, and I sleep like a baby.
I’m usually a bit “meh” before I start, but after it’s over, I feel awesome.
I can’t seem to really disconnect from the day’s stressors. I would rather hang and relax with a friend or my partner.
Way too energized and I have the hardest time falling asleep.
If/When you work out in the mornings, how do you feel?
Not good at all. I can’t even in the mornings!
It’s okay. I just can’t muster up enough energy to push hard.
I feel good. It’s a nice way to boost my energy in the morning!
I feel absolutely fantastic!
How often do “other things” get in the way and cause you to cancel your workout?
Never, I go straight after work. It’s the only way I can wind down.
Not very often, but sometimes happy hour is a bit more tempting.
More often then I would like. My job and family life are so demanding.
All the time – I’m a chronic workout canceller.
How do you feel about preparing things the night before for the following day?
I like preparing myself to sit on the couch and watch Netflix.
I set my alarm and pack my work bag, but that’s about it.
My bag is packed, and I know what I will wear the next day.
Bag packed, meals prepped, workout AND work outfit laid out...let’s go!
