Communications Specialist

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, our teams are currently working from home, and we are onboarding new hires remotely.

As a vital member of our creative Communications team, you will help us boost the experience of our users by creating engaging content for our blog, social media and CRM channels.

You’ll contribute by:

  • Creating engaging copy for our social media channels, CRM channels, and the adidas Runtastic blog
  • Developing and implementing communications strategies together with relevant stakeholders
  • Driving the direction of the adidas Runtastic blog by supporting in planning the blog roadmap and editorial calendar
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to improve blog performance and spot new opportunities
  • Identifying, implementing and tracking SEO possibilities in close exchange and collaboration with our social media marketing team
  • Managing communications projects related to our social media channels, blog, and newsletter as well as dealing with overarching communications topics (such as tone of voice, communications guidelines or storytelling)
  • Supporting other communications specialists in creating copy for campaigns, product and corporate communications
  • Improving processes and workflows to ensure smooth collaboration with stakeholders and the creation of successful content

What makes you the right match:

  • Native speaker proficiency in English, preferably American English
  • 3+ years of experience as a communications professional
  • 3+ years of experience in writing and editing copy; WordPress know-how is a plus
  • University degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field
  • Strong familiarity with SEO (including SEO copywriting and tools)
  • Excellent communication skills and an impeccable eye for detail
  • Passion for sports, tech, health, and fitness topics
  • Creative and proactive nature with a user-centered mindset
  • Ideally, first project management experience
  • Valid work permit for Austria
