In this role, you will be responsible for the development of our global brand marketing (B2C) and partnerships (B2B) strategy, as well as its execution. You will lead, guide and develop a team of 6 marketing professionals and will work closely with our VP of Marketing & Content as well as peer department leaders within Runtastic and intersecting area stakeholders in the adidas organisation.

You’ll contribute by:

  • Leading and developing a team of Marketing Managers, Partnership Managers and Marketing & Partnerships Coordination Manager
  • Developing our annual brand marketing activation strategy with a central focus on adidas key cities as well as executing initiatives together with your team (e.g. marketing campaigns, digital and analogue events or the ambassador program)
  • Owning the strategic priority area of partnerships and fostering growth and engagement through collaboration with key industry partners
  • Strongly collaborating with (API) Product Managers and associated stakeholders within the area of partnerships
  • Continually reviewing changes in the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors to adjust the marketing plan if needed and identifying new business opportunities
  • Owning, planning and distributing an annual budget within the area of responsibility as well as managing and measuring marketing campaign and activation costs
  • Reporting on the effectiveness of activations using predetermined KPIs

What makes you the right match:

  • 8+ years of practical experience in the area of digital marketing, campaign marketing, activation marketing, partnerships or business development
  • Hands-on experience working with a ‘go-to-market strategy’ and ‘role-out’ approach, as well as B2B brand marketing, in a digital context
  • 2+ years of direct leadership experience
  • Empathetic, people-centred mindset and a passion for leadership
  • Extraordinary negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse set of individuals and across different expert areas
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and a broad range of stakeholders simultaneously
  • Profound project management and prioritization skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to set and monitor KPIs
  • Excellent English and communication skills
