As our Partnerships Manager it will be your responsibility to partner with industry leaders and help drive our partnership ambitions of getting more people active on our adidas running app. You will be responsible for building joint business plans with our existing and new partners to help increase awareness of adidas Running amongst new audiences and bringing partner benefits to our highly active members. This is a parental leave cover with a limited period contract until March 2025.
You’ll contribute by:
- Developing our annual partnership strategy together with our wider Marketing team
- Creating and managing meaningful partnerships through the initiation of joint business/activation plans
- Approaching, pitching and onboarding new partners
- Preparing analytical reports to identify business opportunities and showcase partnership performance
- Guiding and managing internal stakeholders (e.g. from Marketing, Product, or Engineering) as well as external ones (such as third party companies) to drive partnership operations
- Defining KPIs on the basis of the partnership strategy and regularly monitoring performance
- Collaborating with adidas partnership teams to ensure the presence of the adidas Running app in the brand membership strategy
What makes you the right match:
- 4+ years of experience in Partnerships, Marketing or similar B2B roles, in the sports or tech industry
- Proven track record of creating and executing partnership activation plans, preferably with high profile partners
- A natural relationship builder with experience in project management and working with internal as well as external stakeholders
- Affinity for sport and digital products as well as familiarity of app space/API integrations
- Analytical thinker who takes ownership of KPIs and displays a data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and English skills, as well as a proactive and user-oriented attitude
- Creative and innovative approach to problem-solving
- Ability to self-start in sometimes ambiguous circumstances
- Valid work permit for Austria

And here’s the fine print: Compensation throughout the company includes fixed and variable monetary compensation as well as our benefits package. Our fixed salary for this position starts at EUR 51,000 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hours working week).Your actual offer depends on your skill set and experience. As variable component we have a Short-Term-Incentive plan in place.
